Codex desktop is the primary AI coding environment for this repo. If you are working
through GitHub Copilot or another editor agent, follow the same repo contracts and
defer to `AGENTS.md` plus the docs it references.
## Non-negotiables
- Read `AGENTS.md` first.
- Work spec-first.
- Keep changes small and verifiable.
- Update docs, prompts, evals, tasks, and tests in the same diff when behavior changes.
- Prefer repo-owned instructions over hidden chat context.
- Respect `docs/GUARDRAILS.md` and `docs/MODEL_POLICY.md` for AI-related changes.
- Never claim verification you did not run.when to use it
Community prompt sourced from the open-source GitHub repo toniacprado/aidev-repo-template (MIT). A "Copilot Instructions" style prompt — adapt the placeholders and specifics to your task. Imported as-is and not independently retested here, so check the output before relying on it.
