Optimized Examples
# Optimized Prompt Examples
*Facilitator reference rewrites for prompts 1–7 from `bad-prompts.md`. Prompts 8–15 are intentionally left open as fresh material — see the note at the bottom of `bad-prompts.md`.*
Use these to **judge** entries, **demonstrate** during the live walkthrough, or **share** in chat after the vote. They are not the only "right" answers — they are good ones.
Format for each entry:
- **Before** (excerpt, full version in `bad-prompts.md`)
- **After**
- **What changed (CLEAR mapping)**
- **Estimated token reduction**
- **Output quality improvement**

## ✅ 1 — Code Review
**Before** (~110 tokens of preamble): "Hi there! I was hoping you could possibly take a look at the following piece of code…"
**After** (~55 tokens):when to use it
Community prompt sourced from the open-source GitHub repo msfttoler/insiders-optimization-workshop (MIT). A "Optimized Examples" style prompt — adapt the placeholders and specifics to your task. Imported as-is and not independently retested here, so check the output before relying on it.
