- ask once, or
- mark it explicitly as _unknown_.

## SOURCE OF TRUTH

Base documentation only on:

- `project-spec/*.md` which are canonical (constraints, intent, decisions, interfaces)
- existing code and configuration
- explicit decisions recorded in `project-spec/decisions/yyyy-mm-dd/decision-name.md`
- prior approved outputs
- Research from authoritative vendor docs (most likely `Microsoft Docs MCP`) when needed.

If unsupported, treat as **unknown**.
