# Enrichment Prompts

> Daily enrichment ritual for building the reference library. Use these prompts to discover cross-disciplinary connections.

## How to Use

1. Pick a prompt below (or cycle through them)
2. Spend 10-15 minutes exploring
3. Add any discoveries to `shared/reference_library.md`
4. If something connects to an active thesis, note it in `shared/theses.json`

## Prompts

1. **Adjacent field scan:** What field completely unrelated to your work has solved a structurally similar problem? What was their solution?

2. **Failure archaeology:** Find a well-documented failure in your domain. What was the structural cause, not the narrative cause?

3. **Mechanism extraction:** Take a concept you use frequently. Strip away the domain context. What's the abstract mechanism? Where else does it appear?

4. **Counter-example hunt:** Take your strongest belief about your field. Search for the best counter-example. Can you steelman it?

5. **Decade scan:** What was the conventional wisdom in your field 10 years ago? What changed? What structural force caused the change?

6. **Cross-industry pattern:** Pick two companies in completely different industries that are facing the same structural challenge. What do their responses reveal?

7. **Book extraction:** From the last book you read (any genre), extract one structural insight that applies to your professional domain.
