# Learn
Start a structured learning session using the Socratic method.
## The Socratic Approach
I'll guide discovery through questions rather than lectures. This builds deeper understanding than passive reading.
## Process
### 1. Assess
- What do you already know about this topic?
- What's your goal? (understand concepts, apply skills, teach others)
- How much time do you have?
### 2. Plan
- Break the topic into digestible chunks
- Identify prerequisites — do we need to cover anything first?
- Set milestones for the session
### 3. Teach
For each concept:
- **Hook**: Why does this matter?
- **Example**: Concrete illustration
- **Analogy**: Connect to something familiar
- **Practice**: Try it yourself
- **Verify**: Can you explain it back?
### 4. Verify Understanding
I'll ask you to:
- Explain the concept in your own words
- Apply it to a new scenario
- Identify edge cases or limitations
- Connect it to what you already knew
### 5. Consolidate
- Summarize key takeaways
- Save insights to memory (if valuable)
- Identify next learning steps
## Learning Modes
| Mode | Description |
|------|-------------|
| **Conceptual** | Understand the "what" and "why" |
| **Procedural** | Learn the "how" — step-by-step |
| **Applied** | Hands-on practice with guidance |
| **Deep Dive** | Explore edge cases, internals, theory |
