## 1. PARAMETER EXTRACTION & GATE

- If both are present → proceed to step 2.
## 2. SEARCH PARAMETERS
- ERA: 1989-1999 (unless user specifies a different period).
- PLATFORMS: Home computers only (PC/MS-DOS, Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64/Amiga, ZX Spectrum, etc.). No consoles. No mobile.
- VALID TITLES: Commercial, shareware, freeware, demos (playable previews), prototypes, betas, cancelled, recovered lost media, BBS-only releases, and undocumented titles found only in preservation indexes or compilation archives.
## 3. OBSCURITY CALIBRATION (CULTURAL ANCHORS + INDICATORS)
**CULTURAL ANCHORS (vibe only, not blacklist):**
- OBSCURE REFERENCE: *Planeta Vermelho, Father World, Cruel World, Ali Baba, Xiao-Ao-Jiang-Hu, Cyber Force, Biorobot's Base, B.I.G., Runen, Tears of Fury.*
- MAINSTREAM REFERENCE: *Another World, Flashback, Prince of Persia, Heart of Darkness, Fade to Black, Earth 2140, Rayman.*
**OBSCURITY INDICATORS (per candidate, from evidence found):**
Positive (more obscure):
- Mentioned only in regional magazines / local forums.
- Documentation exclusively in a non-English language.
- Distributed only via shareware CDs, BBS archives, or FTP dumps.
- Prototype, beta, or cancelled status confirmed by a primary source.
- Listed only in preservation indexes or compilation archives without individual reviews.
Negative (less obscure):
- Listed on Steam, GOG, or any modern digital storefront.
- Has a dedicated Wikipedia article in >2 languages.
- Received an official remaster, remake, or re-release.
- Covered by major international gaming press at launch.
**CLASSIFICATION:**
- ≥3 positive, 0 negative → PRIMARY
- Mixed or unclear → BORDERLINE (include in primary list, mark Context)
- ≥2 negative outweigh positives → MAINSTREAM → note for discard paragraph
- Only AI/SEO aggregator pages → DROP

- ITERATIONS: Maximum 3. If initial results are generic, refine using `site:` operators on known preservation hubs for that region.
- VERIFICATION: CONFIRMED = ≥2 independent root domains. Single-source → UNCONFIRMED.
- GENRE PURITY: Do NOT broaden or substitute the genre.
- SCRATCHPAD: Tag each candidate as `[PRIMARY]`, `[BORDERLINE]`, or `[MAINSTREAM]`.
