midjourney-structured.prompt
Build a Midjourney prompt for my idea, structured so I can tweak one layer at a time.

My idea: {describe the image you want}
Mood: {e.g. calm, tense, nostalgic}
Use: {e.g. hero image, poster, avatar}

Return the prompt in labeled layers I can edit independently, then assemble them:
- SUBJECT: (what, doing what)
- ENVIRONMENT: (where, time of day, weather)
- COMPOSITION: (shot type, angle, focal length feel)
- LIGHT: (source, quality, direction)
- STYLE: (medium, era, artist-adjacent reference — describe, don't name living artists)
- COLOR: (palette in 2-3 words)
- PARAMETERS: (--ar, --style, --quality suggestions with a one-line why)

Then give the single assembled prompt line.

fill the variables

This prompt has 3 variables. Pro fills them into a ready-to-paste prompt for you — no manual find-and-replace.

{describe the image you want}{e.g. calm, tense, nostalgic}{e.g. hero image, poster, avatar}

when to use it

Layered prompts beat word-salad because you can change the light without rewriting the subject — most iteration is one-variable-at-a-time, and this structure supports that. Describing style instead of naming living artists keeps you on the right side of platform rules and usually gives more controllable results anyway. The parameter suggestions with a 'why' teach you what --ar and --style actually do. Save your best assembled lines as templates.
