# Production prompt recipes

Write prompts in this order: **role → subject/action → composition → medium/camera → lighting → palette/material → layout constraints → exclusions**. Describe observable attributes instead of praise words such as “amazing.”

## Full-bleed background

> Create an image for a [page/slide] background about [subject]. [Composition and focal placement]. [Medium/camera]. [Lighting]. [Palette/material]. Edge-to-edge environmental detail across the entire [aspect ratio] frame; critical content remains inside [safe zone]; intentional negative space at [location] for editable type. No border, frame, matte, white margin, lettering, logo, or watermark.

Generate with surplus scenery around crop-critical edges. Test cover crops at every required ratio.

## Transparent cutout or sticker

Preferred:

> Isolated [subject], [pose/view], [medium/material], [lighting consistent with destination], complete silhouette, clean separation, transparent background, no floor, no horizon, no cast shadow, no text, no border; preserve fine edge detail.

Chroma fallback:

> Isolated [subject] centered on a perfectly uniform solid `#00FF00` background, color absent from the subject. Complete silhouette with generous clearance, no floor/horizon, no cast shadow, no ambient glow, no green reflections, no text or border.

If the subject contains green, switch to `#FF00FF`. After keying: despill, inspect hair/glass, test on black/white/final background, then save a lossless alpha format.

## Editorial or cinematic hero

> [Original subject] in [specific environment], framed [shot size/lens viewpoint], focal point at [location], layered foreground/midground/background, [motivated lighting], [controlled grade], [material cues], [emotion without cliché]. Room for editable headline at [location]. No lettering, logos, familiar characters, or generic stock-photo gestures.

## Illustration family

Define a consistency lock before the first asset: line weight, shape language, perspective, rendering medium, surface texture, palette swatches, light direction, background behavior, and character/object proportions. Repeat the lock verbatim across prompts; vary only scene-specific content.

## Diagram substrate

Generate only the visual substrate—objects, environment, or unlabeled conceptual structure. Build connectors, labels, axes, legends, values, and citations as editable vectors. Never present generated scientific or medical imagery as measured evidence.

## Revision language

State immutable elements first, then deltas:

> Preserve [subject identity/composition/palette/camera]. Change only [specific property]. Extend [edge] with plausible continuation. Keep the focal point fixed and maintain clean [text/crop] safe zones. Do not introduce [failure modes].

## Alpha and edge validation

Check:

1. File has an alpha channel; corners intended to be empty have alpha 0.
2. Subject is neither clipped nor surrounded by excessive transparent canvas.
3. No white/chroma fringe at 100% and 200% zoom.
4. Semi-transparent edges look plausible over black, white, and destination colors.
5. Interior negative spaces remain transparent.
6. Any shadow is intentional, neutral, and separately editable where possible.

when to use it
