Automations
# Codex automation prompts
OpenAI Codex's **Automations** tab turns a prompt into a scheduled or
event-triggered loop: you pick the project, the prompt, the cadence, and the
environment. Runs that find something land in a **Triage inbox**; empty runs
archive themselves. These are the "heartbeat" prompts that make a loop recurring.
→ Background: [docs/04 — The Five Building Blocks → Automations](../docs/04-the-five-building-blocks.md#1-automations--the-heartbeat).
> Every prompt here is written to copy and paste. Primary sources are linked
> inline where a specific claim or primitive depends on one.

## Daily triage (report-only)when to use it
Community prompt sourced from the open-source GitHub repo invincible04/awesome-loop-engineering (MIT). A "Automations" style prompt — adapt the placeholders and specifics to your task. Imported as-is and not independently retested here, so check the output before relying on it.
