# Bootstrap: New Project Setup

Set up the AI Context Starter Kit for a new project.

### Step 1: Copy Starter Permissions
1. Create `.claude/` folder if it doesn't exist
2. Copy permissions to `.claude/settings.local.json`

### Step 2: Copy All Context Templates
Copy all template files from `context/` to the target project's `context/` directory:
- [prd.md](../../context/prd.md), [workflow.md](../../context/workflow.md), [infra.md](../../context/infra.md), [security.md](../../context/security.md), [sbom.md](../../context/sbom.md), [tests.md](../../context/tests.md), [changelog.md](../../context/changelog.md)

### Step 3: Copy Tool Hub Files
- [CLAUDE.md](../../CLAUDE.md) - Claude Code master hub
- [AGENTS.md](../../AGENTS.md) - Copilot/agents hub

### Step 4: Copy All Slash Commands
Create `.claude/commands/` and copy all command files.

### Step 4b: Copy Copilot Configuration
Create `.github/` structure and copy:
- `.github/copilot-instructions.md`
- `.github/instructions/*.instructions.md`
- `.github/prompts/*.prompt.md`

### Step 5: Copy Agent Systems (Optional)
If user wants advanced agent workflows, create `agents/bene-gesserit/` and `agents/mentat/` and copy all agent files.

### Step 6: Initialize Beads
Run `bd quickstart`. If beads not installed: `npm install -g @beads/bd`

### Completion
Verify all files, then tell the user the kit is ready for both Claude Code and GitHub Copilot. Suggest running the PRD setup next.
