2. Read the `status.md` for each active effort listed in SESSION.md

### Session Close
Trigger phrases: "close", "/close", "done for today", "wrap up", "that's it for now"

Run the close checklist defined in `AGENT.md` in order — do not skip steps.

### During the Session
- Update `status.md` files as priorities or active work changes — do not wait until close
- Propose structural changes before making them
- State intent before any file-level action
