Copilot Instructions
# GitHub Copilot Repository Instructions
Read `AGENTS.md` first for repository-wide operating rules.
Use these instructions as a broad baseline:
- keep changes narrow and intentional
- prefer updating source-of-truth docs instead of duplicating guidance
- use path-specific instruction files under `.github/instructions/` when the
current task is specific to one file class or directory
- if a plan exists in `plans/`, follow it before making multi-file changes
- if guidance conflicts, update the deeper source-of-truth file and remove the
driftwhen to use it
Community prompt sourced from the open-source GitHub repo ElliotOne/nl-agents-md-repository-control-plane (MIT). A "Copilot Instructions" style prompt — adapt the placeholders and specifics to your task. Imported as-is and not independently retested here, so check the output before relying on it.
