Prompt Template
# Prompt Template
Use this as a starting point for new prompts saved under `prompts/<category>/`.
## Goal
[What you want the output to accomplish — be specific about the end result, not just the topic.]
## Context
[Relevant background Claude needs: prior decisions, constraints, audience, tone, existing files/structure it should match.]
## Sources
[If the task depends on current/factual information, list what sources to prioritize (e.g., official docs) and any sources to avoid relying on.]
## Constraints
[Format constraints, length limits, things to avoid, required tone/style, technical constraints (e.g., "kebab-case filenames", "MIT license").]
## Output format
[Exactly what you want back: a file, a chat answer, a table, a specific document structure, etc.]
## Verification requirements
[What Claude should double-check, flag as uncertain, or explicitly separate from confirmed fact — e.g., "label speculation clearly," "include an As-of date," "cite sources for anything likely to change."]
## Deliverables
[The concrete thing(s) you expect at the end — e.g., "a downloadable ZIP with X structure," "a single Markdown file at path Y."]when to use it
Community prompt sourced from the open-source GitHub repo jefsko/claude-ai-resources (MIT). A "Prompt Template" style prompt — adapt the placeholders and specifics to your task. Imported as-is and not independently retested here, so check the output before relying on it.
